Thankful Activity and Writing

I am so happy to share this quick writing activity with you!

Here are all the materials you will need:

*brown construction paper

*yellow construction paper

*orange construction paper

*red construction paper

*green construction paper

*googly eyes (optional)

*writing paper

First, the kids trace and cut out 1 hand on the orange, red, and yellow. Then, they trace and cut out their foot. To make the feet and wattle, they just make it using the scraps.

(For a fuller turkey tail, just have them cut two hands on each color instead of one!)

Then, they cut the green to look like grass and glued their turkey on the top.  Finally, they wrote on the writing paper below.

We wrote about things we are thankful for below the turkey.

We used this pack for the brainstorming and a great power point!
